By default the application defaults to auto-launch upon startup of the computer and is running as an unobtrusive
background process awaiting any incoming message alerts.
If the application is halted for any reason, such as by selecting the Log out button or having unchecked the
Automatically log me in preference, the following window will be displayed.

In order to log in, you must supply valid Account Information. This includes:
- Email address which is your registered email address of the form name@domain
- Password which is case sensitive and can be any combination of alphanumeric characters only.
After having entered these, select the Connect button to log in.
If you have lost or forgotten your password, select the Email me my password button.
Lastly, if your account / email address is not recognized for any reason, please re-register with the service by selecting the I don't have an account button.
By default, all three boxes under Startup Options are checked, where:
- Remember my password retains your password for day-to-day invocations.
- Automatically log me in when invoking the application.
- Start on reboot will automatically start the application upon reboot/restart of your machine (auto-launch)
Once you have logged in by clicking on the Connect button, the application will display your latest set of alert headlines.
