Menu entries to configure the application are found in the lower portion of the application menu. Menu options to disable popups, alert message sounds, or both, exist to configure the application to your preference.

Disabling either popups or sound can be performed for a given duration (10, 30, or 60 minutes), until the next session login of the client application, or perpetually until you re-enable them.

Note the default configuration at startup is to enable both popups and sound. Any user directive via the application menu to disable popups, sound, or both, is temporary or persistent across subsequent invocations and retained until the menu setting is toggled again, depending on your settings selection.
